Cavanagh Photography is Adam and Kim, a husband-and-wife business running since 2008 from the northern end of the Central Coast. Adam shoots, Kim runs everything else — so the person who answers your first email is the person who looks after you all the way through. Close to a thousand weddings in, roughly eight hundred of them in the Hunter Valley alone.
Unposed, natural and relaxed, with a bit of drama in the landscape shots. Adam works candidly and deliberately does not shoot to a list: the idea is that you forget he is there. Expect weather, sunsets, dance floors and dogs.
Couples marrying in the Hunter Valley, around Newcastle or on the Central Coast who want someone genuinely local to those regions — and couples eloping mid-week, or somewhere far away, who want the same person to fly out with them.
Wedding collections start at $3,450 and mid-week elopements at $1,450; the full list comes by email on request. A Friday, Saturday or Sunday wedding takes at least the smallest collection. A $1,000 non-refundable retainer and a booking form hold the date. Galleries land in about four to six weeks. Books are open for 2026 and 2027. They do not take Sydney weddings.
Adam photographs every wedding himself and never contracts the day out to another shooter — unusual at this volume. The album follows the same logic: one album, one price, designed for you before you see it, and as many pages as the day needs with nothing to upgrade.
