She works as a documentary photographer in the strict sense: she follows the day rather than staging it, and the gallery is what actually happened. Natural, candid and timeless, with no stiff poses and no manufactured moments. She shoots digital and offers 35mm film as an add-on, which suits the Highlands light and the Illawarra coast particularly well. Fifteen years in these three regions means she knows where the afternoon light falls at Kiama and where the quiet portrait spots are along the escarpment.
