Single Soul is a wedding photography and film studio working out of Melbourne and Sydney, with more than 1,500 weddings behind it over ten years. It is deliberately not an agency: the photographers and videographers are a permanent team who have worked together for a decade, so the people who meet you are the people who turn up on the day.
Style & Approach
Asked to name their style, they decline to pick one word and call it adaptable instead — shot with a candid eye, matched to whatever the day actually is. A rowdy wedding gets photographed as a rowdy wedding and a formal one as a formal one, and any dogs present are reportedly petted a great deal.
Ideal For
Couples who want stills and film from one team rather than two suppliers, and who would rather book a studio than an individual. It suits weddings in either city equally, and the published work runs from Yarra Valley wineries to a sandstone barracks on Sydney Harbour. Same-sex weddings appear throughout the galleries.
The Need-to-Knows
The combined photography and film package covers eight hours with a photographer and a videographer, and includes unlimited photographs — usually more than a thousand — at unlimited locations, a highlight film, vows and speeches, a short social clip, all the raw footage and an online album.
