Adam Kriedemann has photographed more than three hundred weddings in over sixteen years, working out of Brisbane across South East Queensland and down into northern New South Wales. Raconteur means storyteller, and he leans on it: the pitch is relaxed coverage of a day as it actually happens, with no associate shooters and no stand-ins.
Candid and natural, with a deliberate refusal of stiff posing. He also shoots 35mm and medium-format film alongside digital -- a Canon SLR and a Mamiya 645 -- and offers Super 8, so there is a genuine analogue strand rather than a filter.
Couples marrying anywhere between Toowoomba and Byron Bay who want one photographer who genuinely knows the venues. He has shot at Gabbinbar, Kooroomba, Spicers Peak, the Intercontinental, All Hallows and the Byron Bay Surf Club, among many others -- so the venue conversation starts from experience rather than a website.
Photography starts at $1,200 and the full list comes on enquiry. Photography and film together run $3,300 to $10,200, with the film made by a partner studio. Most couples book six to eight hours; three and ten are both offered. Galleries arrive in four to six weeks and stay up for twelve months. Travel across the region is included once you book six hours.
The albums. Three Italian-made books are published with real prices and per-page rates -- a $950 lay-flat coffee-table book, a $1,150 fine art album on archival paper, and a $1,500 leather album in a designer box. Almost nobody in this list prices an album at all, let alone three.
