Blush & Pose Photography is a husband-and-wife team working out of Athelstone in Adelaide’s north-east, with more than a decade of weddings behind them across South Australia and further afield. They are a broad studio rather than a wedding-only one, and weddings are the line they lead with: the largest part of their published work is real ceremonies, told couple by couple.
The approach is documentary first. They work quietly in the background through the day, gathering candid moments as they happen, and then step in for the family and bridal-party groups every couple still wants. The look they describe is light, airy and natural, with a fondness for moodier frames when the light suits, and colour kept true rather than drained.
Couples marrying in Adelaide, McLaren Vale or the Adelaide Hills who want one team for both stills and film, and who like the idea of two photographers on the larger options. The range runs from a two-hour elopement to a full day with a highlight film, so a small weekday ceremony and a large winery wedding are both catered for.
Coverage starts at $1,265 for two hours and runs to $4,200 for a full day, with a combined photography and film option at $7,700 and extra hours at $300 each. A deposit of up to half secures the date and the balance is due a month before. Finished galleries arrive four to seven weeks afterwards, with a sneak peek inside the first week. Travel is included to fifty kilometres from the city centre.
Very few Adelaide photographers put photography, videography and photo booth under one booking, and fewer still publish the prices for all three. Couples who would otherwise be coordinating three suppliers across one day can hand the whole record of it to a single team.
