Wedding Photographers · Adelaide Hills, South Australia
Amy Parkes works from Victor Harbor and photographs weddings across the Fleurieu Peninsula and the South Coast — Goolwa, Port Elliot, Middleton, Encounter Bay — and up through McLaren Vale and Aldinga to the Adelaide Hills. She was Highly Commended for Single Shot at Australasia’s Top Wedding Photographers in 2022. There is no studio: sessions happen where life does.
Natural light and largely unposed, in her own words — the work is about real, fleeting emotion and joy, captured simply and without fuss. She describes a session with her as relaxed and unhurried, with no stiff poses: you go somewhere that means something to you, or somewhere beautiful nearby, and she photographs what actually happens.
Couples marrying on the Fleurieu or the South Coast who want a photographer who lives there rather than one driving down from the city, and who would rather be left alone than directed. Her wedding gallery runs from the handfasting to the confetti exit.
Pricing is not published: she asks for the type of session, a rough date and a location, and replies with current packages and availability. Enquiries go by email or through Instagram or Facebook. She also photographs couples, maternity, newborns, children, families and pets, plus food, events and branding for South Coast businesses.
She is local. The Fleurieu and South Coast catchment has been served almost entirely by Adelaide photographers travelling down; Amy Parkes is based at Victor Harbor and photographs the coast she lives on.
