Lachlan grew up on a farm in Gippsland, moved to the city to chase film-making, and now photographs weddings out of the Yarra Valley. The tone of his own writing is the tone couples describe back to him — warm, funny, low on ceremony. One called him a hype man; several say he took the stress out of the couple portraits, which is usually the part people dread.
