About

Overview & Vibe

Natalie has been a florist since 1989, worked across a string of Perth flower businesses, and started Vine & Bloom from a home studio in Scarborough in 2019. Hundreds of weddings later, the studio still runs on daily deliveries as well as wedding work, which is why the pricing is unusually concrete: there is a published menu, a budget ladder and a calculator, all in the open before you speak to anyone.

Style & Signature Blooms

The house style is relaxed, romantic and classic, built around texture and tone rather than a fixed flower list. Roses do a great deal of the work - white O’Hara roses in the classic bridal bouquets, mini roses in the corsages and buttonholes - alongside dendrobium orchids, peonies, baby’s breath and gum foliage. Natalie asks couples to stay open-minded on varieties and firm on colour, because the market decides what is at its best that week.

Ideal For

Couples who want to know the numbers before the first meeting. The budget ladder runs from under $1,500 through to $7,500-$10,000 and says plainly what each band buys, so you can see where a bouquet-and-buttonholes wedding sits and where a full ceremony and reception install starts. Beach ceremonies at Trigg, garden weddings, city receptions and Swan Valley winery weddings are all in the portfolio.

The Need-to-Knows

There is no minimum spend, which is rare at this level of detail. Delivery, set-up and pack-down are quoted separately on time and distance, and weekend, early-morning or late-night access at a venue attracts premium labour charges - so ask your venue for its access times early. Plinths and a wishing well are available to hire with a bond held separately. Personal flowers are delivered to wherever the bride and the groom are getting ready, which the consultation form asks for by suburb.

Standout Feature

The calculator. Eighteen wedding items are priced individually - bridal bouquet $280, buttonholes $38, arbour florals $850, aisle petals $240, bud vases $33, foliage table runners $90 a metre - and you can add them up yourself before you enquire. Almost no florist in the country publishes this much.

Appointment Policy

  • Start with the online wedding and event consultation form, or email Natalie directly; enquiries can also go through by phone on 0411 632 320.
  • Have your wedding date, ceremony and reception locations and times, guest count, colour scheme, floral wish list and budget ready - the studio asks for all of them before it can confirm availability for your date.
  • Send reference photographs of the style and size of the pieces you want, because the studio quotes from them.
  • Step two is a set of design recommendations built around your budget, priorities and venue.
  • A planning session runs about twelve to fourteen weeks before the wedding, in person or by phone, to settle the detail and finalise the florals.
  • Blooms and foliage are ordered a few days after that session, and any hire or sundry pieces are secured well before it.
  • On the day the studio's team is on site managing the set-up.

Areas Serviced

  • Perth northern coastal suburbs – same-day delivery to Scarborough, Innaloo, Karrinyup, City Beach, Wembley Downs, Sorrento, Carine, Duncraig, Balcatta, Trigg, Watermans Bay, North Beach, Floreat, Wembley, Warwick, Craigie, Leederville, Doubleview, Gwelup, Churchlands and Mount Hawthorn.
  • Greater Perth – the studio delivers beyond the northern suburbs and asks you to get in touch if your suburb is not on the list.
  • Perth city and beaches – beach ceremonies at Trigg, garden weddings at Floreat and receptions in the Perth CBD are all named as work the studio takes on.
  • Swan Valley – winery weddings in the valley are named among the celebrations the studio designs for, working out from the Scarborough studio.

Delivery & Setup

  • Delivery and set-up are quoted separately from the flowers, worked out on the time and the distance the job needs.
  • Weekend weddings cost more to staff: Saturday and Sunday attract premium labour charges, and so do early-morning set-ups and late-night pack-downs.
  • Ask your venue for its access times early, because each venue sets its own rules on when the flowers can go in and when they must come out, and that changes the cost.
  • Personal flowers are delivered to wherever you and your partner are getting ready - the consultation form asks for both suburbs.
  • Ceremony plinth arrangements can be moved across and used again at the reception.
  • For everyday orders, same-day delivery across Perth runs on orders placed by 11am Monday to Friday, with flowers generally arriving after lunch.
  • Saturday deliveries need to be ordered by 1.30pm on the Friday.

Nearby Landmarks

  • Scarborough Beach – the studio's own suburb, and one of Perth's main beach foreshores.
  • Trigg Beach – just up the coast, and named by the studio as a ceremony location it works at.
  • Karrinyup – the shopping and residential centre immediately inland, inside the same-day delivery run.
  • Perth central business district – about fifteen minutes east, and inside the delivery area.
  • Swan Valley – Western Australia's oldest wine region, north-east of the city.

Price Notes

  • The studio suggests putting 10-15% of the total wedding budget into flowers, and 20-25% if you want an abundant, heavily styled look.
  • Most of its couples spend between $3,500 and $7,500, though some spend less and some budget more.
  • Under $1,500 generally covers the bridal bouquet, a few bridesmaid bouquets and buttonholes for the groom and groomsmen, or a bouquet, a buttonhole and one small feature installation for an intimate wedding.
  • $2,000-$3,500 covers the personal flowers plus either table florals at the reception, or one large ceremony feature such as an arbour design or plinth flowers, or a hanging foliage installation or bridal table garland.
  • $3,500-$5,500 covers personal flowers plus a feature at the ceremony and one at the reception, with smaller table arrangements or bud vases, cake flowers and possibly seating chart florals.
  • $5,500-$7,500 is the studio's typical full-service wedding: personal flowers, a ceremony feature, a reception installation, table flowers, cake table and welcome or seating sign florals.
  • $7,500-$10,000 opens up large statement pieces - urn arrangements or an archway plus aisle flowers - along with a hanging feature or lush bridal table flowers, guest table flowers, cake flowers and sign florals.
  • Premium blooms such as peonies, orchids and roses lift the cost, so build them into the figure early.
  • The studio describes its own guide as a rough one and notes that other florists price differently, so treat the bands as a way to manage expectations rather than a quote.
  • An incorrect delivery address means a second delivery fee for that suburb.
