Wedding Florists · Canberra, Australian Capital Territory
Lily Ever After is a wedding-only floral studio at St Georges Basin, working across the South Coast, Jervis Bay and up to Canberra. Bec Barrett built it from the ground up after moving down from the Snowy Mountains nearly twenty years ago, and it took out the #1 Brides Choice Award for the Shoalhaven and South Coast. It is also one of very few florists anywhere in this database that simply publishes its prices.
The house look is timeless — blush and white garden roses with eucalyptus and dusty miller, arches in white blooms and greenery. But the range is wider than that suggests: a loose daisy and chamomile posy, a doorway dressed entirely in sunflowers, and one cascading bouquet in vivid orange ranunculus and magenta orchid that is the boldest thing in the portfolio.
Couples marrying anywhere from Jervis Bay to Mollymook who want to know what flowers will cost before they enquire. The package structure scales cleanly from a two-person elopement to a five-bridesmaid party, and there is a Love is Love package of two bridal bouquets for couples who both carry flowers.
The bridal-party packages run $330 to $1,500 and cover bouquets and buttonholes only — ceremony florals start at $480 and reception pieces from $20 each, on top. A couple pricing a whole wedding needs all three lines. Everything can be customised. No hire range is published. Enquiries go through a form that asks for both your ceremony and reception locations; direct contact is 0404 185 060.
Twenty years of it. Bec started at seventeen on a traineeship, came through TAFE with distinctions across her Certificate in Design and a string of awards, and has been doing this on the South Coast ever since. The portfolio quietly shows the confidence that buys — including a golden retriever in a flower collar, ring-bearing at his owners’ wedding.
