Paul Golbach has photographed weddings for almost ten years from a base in Sydney, and now shoots full-time across Australia and Europe. Before the camera he spent over a decade running his own businesses in the fitness industry, and he credits that with the calm under pressure and the patience he brings to a wedding day.

Style & Approach

He describes his approach as sitting at the intersection of editorial artistry and authentic documentary storytelling, drawn to the tension between the composed elegance of a lit portrait and the raw emotion of a moment nobody else saw. He works with a calm, observational presence, guiding gently when it helps and stepping back when it does not. Thirty-five millimetre film is part of the offering, shot on Portra 400 and Ilford HP5 and scanned alongside the digital gallery.

Price Notes

An itemised rate card also publishes three coverage tiers — six hours at $3,300, eight at $4,200 and ten at $4,900 — which do not agree with the $4,500 starting figure.
Videography can be added at $2,600 for six hours, $3,400 for eight and $4,000 for ten, supplied by a videography company he works alongside rather than by him.
Travel is waived for European weddings in 2026.
