True Society is a bridal retail group with three Australian shopfronts — Rosebery in Sydney, Fitzroy in Melbourne and Leederville in Perth, where it trades as True Society by Tuscany Bridal. The stylists are called the True Crew and each store introduces its team by name on the site, which is unusual and tells you who you will actually be with.

Six bridal labels, each with a published price band — Stella York $1,800–$3,300, Essense of Australia $2,100–$4,400, All Who Wander $2,200–$4,100, Oxford Street $2,000–$4,100, Martina Liana $2,800–$7,500 and Martina Liana Luxe up to $15,000 — plus the EveryBody / EveryBride plus-size range. Gowns are browsable by silhouette and by mood: beach, boho, long sleeve, lace, mermaid and simple.

Ideal For

The bride who wants to know the price before she walks in — very few boutiques publish a band per designer. Also for plus-size brides: gowns are stocked to size 30 to try on and can be ordered to size 36, which is a US 34.

The Need-to-Knows

Start nine months to a year out, which is what the group recommends to avoid rush fees.
No alterations in store, at any of the three. Each will give you a list of recommended seamstresses, so budget for that separately.
Bridesmaids are not carried at Fitzroy or Perth.
Bring skin-toned underwear or shapewear, and your wedding shoes if you have them — heel height changes how every gown falls.
Late nights differ by store: Thursday to 7pm in Rosebery, to 8pm in Fitzroy and Perth. Rosebery is closed Monday.
Parking: about 40 spaces at the Rosebery Engine Yards off Mentmore Avenue, street parking on Gore Street or the Smith Street station in Fitzroy, and parallel street parking in Leederville.

Appointments are booked online through the group's booking page for whichever store you are visiting.
Rosebery: Tuesday and Wednesday 11am to 5.30pm, Thursday 11am to 7pm, Friday 10am to 5.30pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm. Closed Monday and Sunday.
Fitzroy: Monday to Wednesday 10am to 5.30pm, Thursday 11am to 8pm, Friday 10am to 5.30pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm.
Leederville: Monday to Wednesday 9.30am to 5pm, Thursday 12pm to 8pm, Friday 9.30am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm.
Bring skin-toned undergarments or shapewear, and your wedding shoes if you have them.

True Society calls its stylists the True Crew, and each Australian store introduces its team by name with a short profile — Shaina, Thuzar, Atousa, Candice and Chloe in Rosebery; Annabel, Madison, Gabby and Georgia in Fitzroy; Rue, Bronwyn and Mariia in Perth.
The Rosebery store describes itself as "a welcoming and inclusive destination where memories are made and brides are celebrated", a short walk from The Cannery and the Rosebery Engine Yards.
The Perth store has custom-designed change rooms "designed to see your dream wedding dress from every angle, while your nearest and dearest comfortably adore every dress moment".
Many gowns can be customised — raise it with your stylist during the appointment.
