Bridal Dress Stores · Sydney, New South Wales · Visit in person
Fashionably Yours has been dressing brides, bridesmaids and wedding guests from its Wahroonga showroom on Sydney’s upper north shore since 2006. Its own summary of the idea: “to connect women to their dream dress — has led us to create your one stop shop for every special occasion.” Bridal, bridesmaids and evening sit under one roof, and the range is unusually deep for a suburban boutique — more than 1,100 styles published online.
The bridal wall is international: Pronovias Barcelona, Luce Sposa, Wona Concept, Pollardi with its Daria Karlozi and Ida Torez lines, Oksana Mukha, Calla Blanche, Moonlight, Olya Mak, Anne-Mariee, Elie Couture, Amarra and Eglantine of France. Bridesmaids come through the Dessy Group Alfred Sung, After Six, Lela Rose, Jenny Yoo and Jenny Packham — plus Tania Olsen and Nicoletta. Gowns are browsable by silhouette and by fabric, from mikado and taffeta to jacquard lace, and the range runs past the traditional gown to bridal jumpsuits, two-piece and mini styles.
The bride who wants a designer label without going into the city, and the one dressing a whole party at once. Also for anyone shopping at a distance: gowns can be bought online, bridesmaids can be ordered interstate in a matched colour, and a Try-At-Home service exists for brides who cannot get to Wahroonga.
The Try-At-Home service, and a custom design path — the store publishes its own guides to silhouette, neckline and sleeve so a bride can specify a gown rather than only choose one.
