Wedding Florists · Bundaberg, Queensland
Raw Blooms is Bec, working from Gin Gin and servicing Bundaberg and the Wide Bay. She started the business in 2019, and in 2024 the Wedding Awards Australia named Raw Blooms the number one wedding florist in the country — after a top-five national placing in 2023 and the 2023 Wedding Industry award for the Fraser Coast and Wide Bay.
Broad by design, because the work is bespoke. Her own portfolio runs from a wildflower bouquet of chamomile, delphinium and garden roses, to structured blush-and-ivory rose work, to a dried native design in king protea, banksia and pampas, to deep burgundy roses with eucalyptus. Ceremony work includes full circular arbours and reception centrepieces. The shop also carries dried and preserved blooms.
A couple who would rather be quoted than sold to. “We don’t offer wedding packages, as we custom design our wedding florals to each individual couples visions.” The process is published in four steps: enquire and hear back on availability, consult on the vision, receive a detailed quote against the floral choices and the budget, then a final consultation six to eight weeks out.
Everyday delivery is zoned and named suburb by suburb: $15 around Gin Gin, $20 to Bundaberg, Bargara, Innes Park and Elliott Heads, and $30 out to Childers, Rosedale, Avondale and Yandarran — that last zone runs on a courier rather than daily, so ask when the next run is. Same-day delivery needs an order before 10am.
She quotes from what the season can actually deliver. “I can leverage this knowledge to provide helpful insight into which flowers are in season, how easy particular florals are to obtain, and how many you will likely need, to put together an honest quote for all of my customers.” Telling a couple how many stems a look really takes, before the quote, is the opposite of how most floral pricing works.
