For businesses
Link your website to your listing
We’ve added your business to our industry index. Your listing gives customers another independent place to find and verify your business. If useful, you’re welcome to link to your listing from your website to promote your brand presence across the web.
1 Find your listing
Your listing
Search for your business by name or by website address, and the code below will link to your listing.
2 Choose a badge
Light suits most websites. Choose dark for a dark background, and the arch for a narrow column or sidebar. The text link takes on your website’s own font.
3 Copy the code
Add it to your website
Before you start
- Find your business in step 1 first. Then everything you copy from this page already has your listing’s address in it.
- Pick one page. Your About, Reviews or Press page is best: it is where people check who you are. It does not need to go in a footer on every page.
- Pick a way to add it. Pasting the code is quickest if your website allows it. Uploading the image works on almost every website, on every plan, so choose that if you are not sure.
- Keep this page open. Open your website editor in a new tab or window, so you can come back here to copy things.
- Not sure what your website is built with? Look at the very bottom of your website for words like “Powered by”, or check who sends the bill for it.
Choose your website builder for step-by-step instructions:
WordPress
Paste the code
- On this page, click Copy the code, at the top or in step 3. It looks as if nothing happened, but the code is copied and ready to paste, the same as copying text.
- Log in to your website. On most WordPress websites the login page is your website address with /wp-admin on the end, such as yourbusiness.com.au/wp-admin.
- In the dark menu on the left, click Pages. Find the page you want, such as About, move your mouse over its name and click Edit.
- Click at the end of the paragraph the badge should follow, and press Enter to start a new, empty line.
- Type /html. A small menu appears. Click Custom HTML, and an empty box appears.
- Click inside the box. If you see a button that says Edit HTML, click it, and a window opens. Paste the code. On Windows, hold Ctrl and press V. On a Mac, hold ⌘ Command and press V. If a window opened, click Update in that window.
- Click Update or Save in the top right corner of the screen.
Or upload the image
- On this page, in step 3 under No code?, click PNG. The badge saves to your Downloads folder.
- Click Copy next to Link in step 3. That copies the address of your listing, ready to paste in a moment.
- Open the page for editing and start a new line, as in steps 2 to 4 above.
- Type /image and click Image. Click Upload and choose the badge from your Downloads folder.
- Click the badge once. In the small toolbar above it, click the link button, which looks like a chain. Paste your listing address and press Enter.
- To copy the alt text, click Copy next to Alt text in step 3. Then paste it into Alternative text in the panel on the right. If there is no panel on the right, click the Settings button next to Save in the top right corner.
- Click Update or Save in the top right corner.
If you see Edit with Elementor under the page name or at the top of the editor, your website uses Elementor. Click Edit with Elementor. In the panel on the left, find the HTML widget (its icon is </>), drag it onto the page and paste the code into its box. Click Publish or Update in the top right corner. If WordPress removes part of the code when you save, your login is not allowed to add code: ask whoever set up the website, or upload the image instead.
Squarespace
Paste the code
- On this page, click Copy the code, at the top or in step 3. It looks as if nothing happened, but the code is copied and ready to paste, the same as copying text.
- Log in at squarespace.com and click your website.
- Click Pages, then click the page where the badge should go.
- Click Edit in the top left corner of the page.
- Move your mouse over the part of the page where you want the badge, and click Add Block or the + sign.
- Click Code. If you cannot see it, type code into the search box. A box with sample text appears on the page.
- If a code window has not opened, click the box and then the pencil icon. Select the sample text and delete it. Paste the code. On Windows, hold Ctrl and press V. On a Mac, hold ⌘ Command and press V.
- Check that the menu above the code says HTML, and that Display Source is switched off. If it is on, the code shows as text instead of the badge.
- Click away from the box, then click Save in the top left corner.
Or upload the image
- On this page, in step 3 under No code?, click PNG. The badge saves to your Downloads folder.
- Click Copy next to Link in step 3. That copies the address of your listing, ready to paste in a moment.
- Follow steps 2 to 5 above, but click Image instead of Code, and upload the badge from your Downloads folder.
- Click the badge, then the link icon in its toolbar. Or click the pencil icon, then Attach Link. Paste your listing address.
- To copy the alt text, click Copy next to Alt text in step 3. Then paste it into Image alt text on the Content tab.
- Click Save in the top left corner.
Squarespace sometimes hides code while you are logged in. If the badge does not show, check it in a private window, as described under “Check that it worked”.
Shopify
Paste the code
- On this page, click Copy the code, at the top or in step 3. It looks as if nothing happened, but the code is copied and ready to paste, the same as copying text.
- Log in to Shopify. In the menu on the left, click Online Store, then Themes.
- Next to the theme your store uses, click Edit theme. The theme editor opens.
- At the top of the screen, in the middle, click the menu showing the page you are on (usually Home page) and choose the page you want.
- In the list on the left, click Add section. Type Custom Liquid into the search box and click it.
- Click into the code box in the new section’s settings. Paste the code. On Windows, hold Ctrl and press V. On a Mac, hold ⌘ Command and press V.
- Click Save in the top right corner.
Or add a text link
- In step 2 on this page, choose Text link, then click Copy next to Link to copy your listing address.
- In the theme editor, click Add section and choose Rich text.
- Click the text in the new section, and in its settings type Find us on Little Wedding Planner. Select those words, click the chain-link button in the text toolbar, paste your listing address, then click away from the box.
- Click Save in the top right corner.
If there is no Custom Liquid in the list, your theme does not have it. Use the text link, or send the code to whoever built your store.
Wix
Upload the image (recommended on Wix)
- On this page, in step 3 under No code?, click PNG. The badge saves to your Downloads folder.
- Click Copy next to Link in step 3. That copies the address of your listing, ready to paste in a moment.
- Log in at wix.com. Next to your website, click Edit Site.
- Go to the page you want, using the page menu at the top of the editor.
- Click Add Elements (the + on the left), then Image. Upload the badge from your Downloads folder and add it to the page.
- Drag the badge to where you want it.
- Click the badge once, then the Settings icon. Under When image is clicked, choose A link opens. Under What does it link to?, click the link icon, paste your listing address and click Done.
- To copy the alt text, click Copy next to Alt text in step 3. Then paste it under What’s in the image? in the same settings.
- Click Publish in the top right corner.
Or paste the code
- On this page, click Copy the code, at the top or in step 3. It looks as if nothing happened, but the code is copied and ready to paste, the same as copying text.
- In the editor, click Add Elements, then Embed Code, Popular Embeds and Embed HTML.
- Click Enter Code. Paste the code. On Windows, hold Ctrl and press V. On a Mac, hold ⌘ Command and press V. Then click Apply.
- Drag the edges of the box until the whole badge shows, with no scroll bars.
- Click Publish.
On Wix, upload the image if you can. Wix’s own help says links that open a new tab often do not work inside pasted code, and this code opens a new tab. If your editor has + Add at the top left instead of Add Elements, you are on the newer Wix editor: add the image, click it, and use the chain-link icon in the bar above it to add your listing address.
Pixieset

- Click Copy next to Link in step 3. That copies the address of your listing, ready to paste in a moment.
- Log in to Pixieset, open your Website and go to the page you want.
- Add an image to the page and upload the badge from your Downloads folder.
- Click the image to edit it. Under On Click, choose Link and paste your listing address.
- Publish your changes.
Or paste the code (Pro website plan)
- On this page, click Copy the code, at the top or in step 3. It looks as if nothing happened, but the code is copied and ready to paste, the same as copying text.
- Move your mouse between two blocks on the page and click the green +.
- Go to Others and add a custom embed code block.
- Click the block. Paste the code. On Windows, hold Ctrl and press V. On a Mac, hold ⌘ Command and press V.

- Open your website in Showit, go to the page and click the canvas where the badge should go.
- In the toolbar at the bottom, click the element icon and choose Embed Code.
- In the panel on the right, open Embed Info and click the Custom Code box. Paste the code. On Windows, hold Ctrl and press V. On a Mac, hold ⌘ Command and press V. Click Save.
- Showit shows your phone layout next to the desktop one. Find the badge in the phone layout too and drag it where you want it, because its place on phones is set separately.
- Publish your website.
Or upload the image
- On this page, in step 3 under No code?, click PNG. The badge saves to your Downloads folder.
- Click Copy next to Link in step 3. That copies the address of your listing, ready to paste in a moment.
- Add the badge to the canvas as an image.
- With the image selected, set its click action to URL and paste your listing address.
- Publish your website.
GoDaddy, Webflow, Square Online and others
Upload the image
- On this page, in step 3 under No code?, click PNG. The badge saves to your Downloads folder.

- GoDaddy: only photos in About or Content sections can link. Click a photo in one of those sections and upload the badge. In the panel on the right, switch on Add Link, choose a website address under Link to, paste your listing address, then click Publish.
- Any other builder: add an image, upload the badge, and look for a Link setting on the image. Paste your listing address there.
Or paste the code
- On this page, click Copy the code, at the top or in step 3. It looks as if nothing happened, but the code is copied and ready to paste, the same as copying text.
- GoDaddy: click Add Section, search for HTML and add it. Paste the code into Custom Code, leave the height blank, then click Publish.
- Webflow (paid plans): add a Code Embed element, paste the code, click Save & Close, then publish.
- Square Online (Plus and Premium): click + Add, then Section, then Embed code, and paste.
- Weebly: drag in an Embed Code element, click it, choose Edit Custom HTML and paste.
- Format, Zenfolio or SmugMug: add an HTML or code block (their higher plans) and paste.
Your email signature
Email uses a smaller version of the badge. Gmail and many versions of Outlook cannot show SVG files, so this one is a PNG.
Gmail, on a computer
- In Gmail, click the gear icon in the top right corner, then See all settings.
- On the General tab, scroll down to Signature. If there is no signature box yet, click Create new and give it a name.
- Click in the signature box where the badge should go, then click the picture icon (Insert image) in the toolbar under the box.
- Choose Web Address (URL) and paste this address. https://littleweddingplanner.com/assets/badges/listed-on-email.png Then click Select.
- Click the badge, or drag across it to highlight it. Click the chain-link button, paste your listing address into the web address box, and click OK. To copy your listing address, click Copy next to Link in step 3.
- Scroll to the bottom of the settings page and click Save Changes.
Outlook
- Save the email badge with the button above.
- In new Outlook or Outlook on the web: click the gear icon, then Accounts, then Signatures. In classic Outlook for Windows: click File, then Options, Mail and Signatures.
- Create a signature or choose the one you use.
- Click the picture icon in the signature toolbar and choose the email badge from your Downloads folder.
- Click the badge to select it, click the chain-link icon, and paste your listing address.
- Click Save. In classic Outlook, click Save and then OK.
Apple Mail, on a Mac
- Save the email badge with the button above.
- In Mail, open the Mail menu, choose Settings (on older Macs, Preferences), then click Signatures.
- Click your email account on the left. Click + for a new signature, or click the one you use.
- Drag the email badge from your Downloads folder into the signature on the right.
- Apple Mail links words more dependably than images. Under the badge, type Find us on Little Wedding Planner, select those words, open the Edit menu, choose Add Link, and paste your listing address.
Someone else looks after your website
- Click Copy the code on this page.
- Start an email to the person who looks after your website, and paste the code into it.
- Add this note, or your own words:
Please add this to our About, Reviews or Press page. It is plain HTML with no script, and it links to our listing on Little Wedding Planner. The badge image is hosted on their site, so please leave the address as it is.
Check that it worked
- Open a private window, so you see your website the way visitors do. In Chrome, hold Ctrl and Shift and press N (on a Mac, ⌘ Command, Shift and N). In Safari, open the File menu and choose New Private Window.
- Go to your website and find the page you changed. The badge should be there.
- Click the badge. Your listing on Little Wedding Planner should open in a new tab.
If you see the code itself as text on your page, it went into an ordinary text box rather than a code box. Delete it and follow the steps again, or upload the image instead. If the badge shows but clicking it does nothing, the link was not added: select the image and add your listing address as its link.
Using the badge
- It is optional. Adding it, or taking it down later, changes nothing about your listing or where it appears.
- Link it to your own listing. The code already does.
- Use it as it is. Please do not recolour, stretch or crop it, or add words like “recommended” or “award”. A listing is not a recommendation, which is why it says “Listed on”.
- Nofollow is fine. If you would rather the link carried
rel="nofollow", tick the box in step 3.
About your listing
Listings are written by Little Wedding Planner, mostly from what each business publishes on its own website. Nobody pays to be listed, and nobody can pay to be placed higher.
If something on your listing is wrong or out of date, email hello@littleweddingplanner.com with the address of the page and what needs changing. If you would rather not be listed at all, say so, and the page will be taken down. Please take the badge off your website too.
