Wilde Visual is a Burleigh Heads studio photographing and filming weddings across the Gold Coast, Byron Bay, the Tweed Shire, the Scenic Rim and Brisbane. It has been running since 2014 and is now a close-knit team of four photographers and three videographers, each with more than a decade behind them, all shooting in a consistent house style and editing in-house.
Romantic and natural, with warm tones and natural skin, and a candid eye that documents the day as it unfolds with just enough direction to keep things easy. As they put it, it is less like a photoshoot and more like spending time with old friends who happen to have a camera. Couples who expect to feel awkward are guided as much or as little as they need.
Couples who want photography and film from one team rather than two vendors, and who would rather be at their own party than managed through it. Coverage runs from a two-hour elopement to a nine-hour wedding day, so both a small ceremony and a full celebration are catered for. Dogs at weddings are actively encouraged.
Elopement photography starts at $1,950 for two hours. A half day is $3,100 for up to five hours and a full day $3,850 for up to nine, with photography and film combined at $6,850. All prices include GST and an $800 deposit secures the date. A sneak peek lands within a week, usually inside 48 hours; the full gallery follows in four to six weeks and films in six to eight.
The gallery sizes are unusually generous and stated up front — around 900 edited images on a full day and 650 on a half day — and a run sheet consultation is built into every package rather than sold as an extra. For couples who want grain, 35mm film can be added alongside the digital coverage.
