Wedding Photographers · Adelaide Hills, South Australia
Verity Edgecombe works from Balhannah in the Adelaide Hills and has photographed hundreds of weddings over more than twelve years, here and overseas. Her published venue list runs to about eighty names, from Mount Lofty House and the Bridgewater Mill to woolsheds, castles and private properties in the hills. She works with a second photographer on all but the smallest package.
In her own words she uses the light as a paintbrush and captures timeless, heartwarming moments in a relaxed, easy-going way. She gives gentle direction when it helps and often works with a longer lens to stay out of the way, and she edits for true colours with warm undertones rather than a heavy filter. Couples describe her as unobtrusive.
Couples marrying in the Adelaide Hills or Adelaide who want a photographer who already knows the venue. She visits it beforehand to learn the layout and the light, and she plans the family photograph list with you so that part of the day runs quickly.
Four packages run from $1,695 for a two-hour elopement to $3,795 for eight hours, and the three larger ones include a second photographer. Travel within 30 km of Balhannah is included; beyond that a fee of at least $55 applies. The online gallery arrives within 30 days and stays available for two years.
The rainy-day promise. If rain takes your outdoor portrait time, she gives you a free 60-minute couple session afterwards, within four weeks of the wedding. It is included on every package except the two-hour elopement.
