Wedding Photographers · Adelaide, South Australia
Rexvil Photography is Kieren and Michelle Smith, a husband-and-wife team who have been photographing Adelaide weddings since 2016. Kieren founded the studio after studying photography at university; Michelle works alongside him, and between them they cover both photography and film. The tone they aim for is calm rather than directed, with guidance offered when it is wanted and space left for the day to unfold.
Their own three headings are Natural and Candid, Refined and Timeless, and Story-Driven. In practice that means candid coverage blended with editorial portraits, and Kieren describes his approach to weddings as calm and documentary. The stated aim is that the day should not become one long photoshoot.
Couples marrying in Adelaide or anywhere across South Australia who want photography and film from one team rather than two suppliers. The half-day option suits couples who want coverage from the ceremony through to the early evening; the full day covers preparation onwards. Family and maternity sessions are also offered, though corporate work is not.
Wedding photography packages start at $3,900 and photography with videography starts at $7,900. Coverage is offered as a half day of up to six hours or a full day of up to ten hours. A small selection of preview images arrives within 24 to 48 hours and the full gallery within 8 to 12 weeks; where film is included, the film follows 8 to 12 weeks after the gallery. Booking is a signed agreement plus a 30 per cent reservation fee, with a 24-hour courtesy hold available while you decide. Raw files are not released.
The albums are the part they have thought hardest about: layflat books handcrafted in Australia by Seldex on 310 gsm Canson Infinity Photo Lustre paper, with seamless double-page spreads, from $1,590, and they can be added to any package or ordered later once you have lived with the gallery for a while.
