Brookwood Receptions
About
Overview & Vibe
Brookwood Receptions is Melbourne's northern-suburbs celebration house — a Thomastown reception specialist built for big, glamorous nights. Chandeliers, mood-lit dance floors and grand-entrance theatrics set a tone of full-production party from the moment guests arrive to complimentary drinks and savouries in the foyer.
Setting & Style
Two rooms cover every scale: the Ballroom seats up to 600 guests beneath breathtaking chandeliers with a customisable bridal-table backdrop, while the whimsical Novaroom with balcony access hosts 30 to 120. Wrought-iron candelabras, custom linen and big-screen displays frame the styling, and couples can make their entrance through pyrotechnics, laser lights or clouds of dry ice.
Ideal For
Large cultural and family weddings in Melbourne's north that want ballroom scale, showtime entrances and a coordinator-driven package.
The Need-to-Knows
- The Ballroom holds up to 600 guests (minimum 200); the Novaroom 30–120 (minimum 50).
- Bridal suites with complimentary food and drinks on arrival.
- Function coordinators assist with décor, styling, photography, videography and musicians.
- Ample on- and off-street parking in Thomastown, about 17 kilometres north of the CBD.
Standout Feature
Grand entrances at genuine scale — pyrotechnics, lasers and dry ice rolling across a 600-seat ballroom's dance floor.
