Compose Photography is a boutique Perth studio run by Kirsten Graham and Rebecca Johansson, two accredited Master Photographers with more than twenty years each behind the camera. They work from a St Georges Terrace studio in the city centre and photograph weddings throughout Western Australia, interstate and overseas, with a long-standing presence in the Swan Valley.

Style & Approach

The pair photograph with a mixture of documentary and directed frames, staying unobtrusive through the flow of the day and then offering guidance for bridal portraits and family groups. Lighting is chosen to suit the locations a couple picks, from soft backlight through trees outdoors to a styled, fashion-led look indoors. Even the frames that read as candid may carry a little quiet direction, so the smiles stay real.

Compose photographs everything from intimate registry ceremonies to large multi-day celebrations of several hundred guests, and they are practised at moving a long family-photo list along without it stalling the party.
