Melissa’s Photography has been shooting weddings out of Perth since 2008, close to three hundred of them, and Mel still says she cries at every one. She works Perth and Western Australia year-round and goes north to Broome every dry season, something she has done for more than twenty years.

Style & Approach

She does not describe her wedding work in style labels, and one thing she is emphatic about is retouching: none of her work is photoshopped, and what you get is the day as it happened. She counts putting nervous people at ease in front of a camera as her real strength, and offers an engagement session as practice for couples who want one.
