Aluuna is a couture and tailoring house in Ballina, and bridal is where it started. Its founder learned to sew before she learned to ride a bike, from a grandmother who was a bridal wear seamstress her words are “bridal wear is in our blood”. The house style is soft, hand-beaded and quiet: blush, ivory and sheer, with beading threaded one bead at a time.

The bridal range is small and deliberate: Viola Bridal, the gown that started the house, and Gia Bridal, an A-line in luxurious velvet with delicate hand beading.
