Peterson House
About
Overview & Vibe
Peterson House stands at the gateway to Pokolbin — the Hunter's sparkling-wine house, whose sandstone chapel with its handcrafted timber trusses and soaring ceilings has become the region's signature aisle.
Setting & Style
Ceremonies run three ways: inside the air-conditioned Chapel with its grand timber doors ($2,500), in front of its sandstone façade ($1,800), or out By the Vines ($1,800) — each with coordinator, sound system and styled inclusions. Cocktail hour flows through the Chapel Bar or the vineyard-view Canapé Deck before receptions in the all-glass Marquee (included, to 300 guests) under chandeliers and draping, in the Chapel itself (to 120), or in The House, home of Restaurant Cuvée. Dinner is $215 a head — canapés or grazing, alternate entrées and mains, five-hour beverage package of the house sparklings — with a menu flagged throughout for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests.
Ideal For
Couples who want the Hunter's most famous chapel wedding — sparkling wine made on-site and pricing with zero mystery.
