Ben Ean — the old Lindeman’s estate — rolls across 200 acres of Pokolbin hills, its 200-year-old fig standing swing-hung on the hilltop and its heritage-listed courtyard hosting some of the biggest wedding nights in the Hunter.
Ceremonies choose the vine-wrapped Garden Terrace or the famous Fig Tree on the hill, both with arbour, Americana chairs and property-wide photo access. Pre-dinner drinks graze under the Garden Terrace vines before receptions by the award-winning Restaurant Baume team — the heritage Courtyard seats 400 (600 cocktail) beneath festoon lights, greenery walls and a retractable roof for dancing under the stars, while the fairy-lit Laraghy Room takes 150. Reception packages come in alternate-serve and shared styles, each with a five-hour beverage package, and there is a smaller intimate package for up to fifty guests midweek.
Couples from fifty to four hundred guests who want big Hunter scenery and a serious kitchen behind the menu.
The hilltop fig — two centuries old, its own swing, and the whole Hunter Valley rolling out behind the vows.
