Restaurant 2317
About
Overview & Vibe
Restaurant 2317 is perched above the water on Soldiers Point Marina, two hours north of Sydney, looking straight down the moorings to the far side of Port Stephens.
Setting & Style
It is a single casual dining room rather than a function complex, which is exactly what makes it work for a smaller wedding — glass along the water side, festoon lighting overhead, and a long table set down the length of the room with the marina filling the windows. Eighty guests fit seated, a hundred and ten for a cocktail reception, and every package runs six hours of venue hire with a grazing station on arrival and the wedding cake cut and served on platters. The kitchen leans on sustainably sourced local seafood. Sunsets over the water are the reason most couples book it.
Ideal For
Couples wanting an intimate waterfront restaurant wedding with the marina and the sunset doing the decorating.
