Wedding Photographers · Tamworth, New South Wales
Brianna works from Manilla, a small town in the Tamworth region, and her wedding pictures are of that country: a bridal party walking out through dry grass under a wide sky, a couple framed by an ivy-covered gable, a hot rod laying down smoke on an empty road, groomsmen round a pool table before the ceremony. There is warmth and a lot of laughter in the work, and a steady hand for the quiet moments as well as the loud ones.
She describes what she does as capturing the day in a somewhat candid nature, and calls the result a balance of meaningful storytelling and timeless imagery. Her stated aim is a stress-free, judgement-free day, and her tagline - edited with love, not with a template - is a claim about the finishing as much as the shooting. Black and white sits comfortably alongside colour throughout the published work.
Couples marrying around Tamworth, Manilla or Gunnedah who want a local photographer with no travel line on the invoice, and who would rather laugh through the day than be arranged. The three-hour collection is a genuine option for an intimate wedding or an elopement rather than an afterthought, and the largest collection brings a second photographer and an album for couples who want the whole day covered.
Four collections, all priced in the open. Three hours at one thousand nine hundred and fifty dollars brings around one hundred edited images; six hours at three thousand nine hundred and fifty brings around four hundred; eight hours at four thousand seven hundred and fifty brings around six hundred; and the largest, at five thousand nine hundred and fifty, adds up to ten hours, a second photographer, an engagement session and a twenty-page heirloom album. Every collection includes high and low resolution files with no watermarks and no copyright restrictions, a sneak peek within forty-eight hours and the full gallery in eight to nine weeks. A two hundred dollar deposit and a signed contract hold the date. Prints and an album can be added to any collection.
Her travel terms are unusually plain: the immediate Tamworth and Gunnedah areas cost nothing extra, and beyond them she publishes the rate per kilometre and what a night’s accommodation will be allowed for. For couples in a region where most photographers arrive from Newcastle or Sydney, a local who prices the distance openly - and charges nothing across her own patch - is worth knowing about.
