Quill Fine Art Creations is a wedding stationery studio in Wagga Wagga, in country New South Wales, working with couples across Australia and overseas. The studio describes its work as heirloom pieces, thoughtfully crafted wedding stationery and timeless illustrations drawing on vintage art techniques. Save-the-dates and invitations can be printed digitally, in white ink, with letterpress or in metallic foil, and cut as a standard rectangle, a die-cut shape, an arch, a double or half arch, a diagonal slice, a pebble or a circle. Finishing touches include deckled-edge handmade paper, personalised wax seals, twine and hand-dyed silk ribbon wraps, belly bands, envelope liners and vellum wraps. Letterpress work is printed on 100% cotton paper, with inks mixed by hand to match a couple’s colours.

Couples who want a custom suite rather than a template, and who like the idea of illustration carried through the stationery, whether that is a drawing of the venue, florals or a monogram. There is no minimum order, so smaller weddings are catered for. Couples who want the day to match can order the same design across welcome signs, seating charts, bar signage, table numbers, place cards and menus, and can have guest addresses written in calligraphy or printed.

Standout Feature
The letterpress is a 120-year-old Arab platen press, operated by a foot treadle and hand-fed one sheet at a time, printing a single colour per pass. That is what gives a letterpress suite its deep, hand-pressed impression on 100% cotton paper.
