Overview & Vibe
Bread Boutique has been on Smith Street in Darwin City since 2010, and it is an occasionwear shop first — its own words are “Darwin’s home for designer occasionwear”, dressing the Territory for balls, race days, weddings and formals. Owner Jeanette Samaha spent a decade designing in London and Paris and then led a label in Sydney before opening here.

Ten Australian and international labels — Nicoletta, Jadore, Elliatt, Acler, Sabina Musayev, Zhivago, Tina Holly and Once. The bridal collection runs to 67 gowns, mostly Nicoletta and Tina Holly, in satin, mikado, chantilly lace, beading and tulle. Be aware that it is a colour-led range most gowns come in shades as well as white and ivory, so say up front that you are shopping for a wedding.
Ideal For
A Territory bride who does not want to fly south, and anyone dressing a whole wedding party rather than only the bride — the same racks cover mothers, bridesmaids and guests. Most pieces are the only one of their kind in Darwin.

Bridal gowns run. Fittings are free and one-on-one with Jeanette — call, email or use the form to book. Open Monday to Friday 10am–5pm and Saturday 10am–3pm, closed Sunday. Everything is listed in Australian sizing. Change of mind is an exchange or store credit within 14 days, not a refund, and sale pieces are final — so try before you buy where you can. Express shipping runs Australia-wide.
