Wedding Photographers · Sunshine Coast / Noosa, Queensland · By appointment
A Sunshine Coast wedding photographer with twelve years behind the camera and hundreds of weddings photographed, first across tropical Far North Queensland and now from the Sunshine Coast. The background is journalism, and it shows: the work is reportage of a day rather than a set of arranged pictures.
Wedding photojournalism, described in her own words as emotive, journalistic, minimalist, honest, unobtrusive and low-key. Natural light, very little posing, and an emphasis on feeling over arrangement, combined with classic portraiture for the formal moments. Clients are described as people who dislike posing and are often camera-shy, which the approach is built around.
Couples marrying on the Sunshine Coast, in Brisbane or in the Cairns region who want a documentary record of the day and as little direction as possible. Also suited to couples nervous about being photographed, since a pre-wedding meeting and a deliberately unobtrusive manner are built into the service.
Prices are not published; a full pricing guide is sent by email on request. At least one planning session happens between booking and the wedding, in person, by phone or by email. About seventy images are delivered for every hour of coverage, with no cap on how many are taken. Destination weddings are quoted at special rates with flights and accommodation charged at cost price.
A sneak peek gallery arrives within a week of the wedding, and albums are handmade by one of the world’s leading album makers, printed by silver halide on premium paper and rated to last more than a century without noticeable colour change.
