Wedding Photographers · Adelaide, South Australia
Jodie Pope works out of Woodcroft in Adelaide’s south and photographs weddings from the deep southern suburbs up through the city. She calls herself affordable by choice and means it: coverage starts at a forty-minute ceremony-only shoot and runs to a ten-hour day, with every step priced and bookable. She is open about who she works with, writing that her clients have included cancer patients, autistic couples, second marriages and people of every age.
Classic, candid, romantic and documentary in her own words, with a colour treatment she describes precisely: vibrant colours with a hint of muted darkened greens, or sometimes true colours with muted greens and warm earthy skin tones. She shoots roughly ninety frames an hour and prefers to meet beforehand to understand the day and the editing look you want.
Couples on a real budget, and anyone eloping or planning a micro-wedding of twenty to fifty guests. She shoots at the Adelaide Registry Office, works with celebrants across the city, and can sometimes take a booking two days to five weeks out, which very few photographers offer.
A $150 booking fee secures the date and packages are booked through an online calendar with card, bank transfer or a payment plan. Travel within Adelaide is included. Photographs arrive in about ten to fourteen days for a wedding and a week to ten days for an elopement, through a temporary online gallery.
The ladder of options. Forty minutes at $295, two hours at $615, then four, six, eight and ten-hour wedding packages, plus a separate short film of the ceremony and reception highlights. Very few photographers publish this many rungs.
