Eyre Peninsula / Port Lincoln, South Australia

The Eyre Peninsula runs from Whyalla down to Port Lincoln and west along the Far West Coast, trading vineyards for open water. Couples marry above Boston Bay, on the white sand at Coffin Bay, among the granite and cliffs of Lincoln National Park and Whalers Way, and at Streaky Bay and Ceduna where the coast turns toward the Nullarbor.

This is Australia’s seafood coast, and it shows on the table — Coffin Bay oysters, southern bluefin tuna and kingfish straight off the boat. Receptions run to foreshore function rooms, farm sheds and coastal lodges rather than grand ballrooms, and the distances mean guests stay the weekend. For couples who want ocean, space and very few other people, the peninsula delivers all three.
