About

Overview & Vibe

Rachael Emmily photographs weddings from Albury-Wodonga across North East Victoria, the Rutherglen wine region, the King Valley and the Victorian High Country. Her approach is calm and observant: she guides when guiding is needed and then steps back, which suits couples who want to spend the day with their people rather than posing for a camera.

Style & Approach

Documentary and candid, with an editorial eye and a preference for natural light and true-to-life colour. She works without a shot list, photographing moments as they happen, and will build a list for family portraits if a couple wants one. In her own words her style is natural and authentic rather than posed.

Ideal For

Couples marrying at a North East Victorian winery, farm or country property who want unhurried coverage and a photographer who blends in. Also well suited to elopements and small weddings, which she offers as a separate experience with planning help included.

The Need-to-Knows

  • Wedding collections begin at $4,000 and most couples spend between $5,000 and $6,900; elopement packages begin at $2,500.
  • A $1,000 deposit and a signed contract reserve the date.
  • Hours of coverage and what each collection includes are shared in an experience guide sent on enquiry.
  • A second photographer is not standard and can be added on request.
  • Only a limited number of wedding and elopement bookings are accepted each year.

Standout Feature

The handmade wedding albums are a properly specified product rather than an afterthought: three sizes from $1,815 to $2,710, 30 to 70 pages, 24 cover colours, engraving or foiling, a keepsake box at the top tier, and two rounds of digital proofing before anything is printed.

  • Extra album spreads. Price: $66 per spread. Description: Added beyond the standard page count, to a maximum of 45 pages.
