Moon Prism Photography is Laurenkate, working from Wangaratta in Victoria’s north east. She photographs weddings across the High Country alongside family, couples, portrait and pet work, and her wedding collections are the two largest things she offers. The photographs are warm and unhurried — couples in paddocks at golden hour, a gown laid out across a bush track, a whole bridal party lined up beside vintage cars under a big country sky.
In her own words she sets out to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience, with a keen eye for detail and a love of storytelling through imagery. That shows in the work: real light, real weather and couples left to be themselves rather than arranged. She shoots in colour and in black and white, and she is as comfortable with two brides or two grooms as with any other couple.
Couples marrying around Wangaratta, the King Valley and north east Victoria who want one photographer for the whole day at a clear, published price. The five-hour collection suits a smaller celebration; the eight-hour one covers a full day from preparation through to the evening. Both include unlimited edited images, so there is no per-photo counting afterwards.
Wedding collections are $2,000 for five hours and $3,200 for eight, and custom hourly wedding coverage can be arranged. A 50% retainer secures the date and is not refundable; the balance falls due two weeks before the wedding. Booking one of her recommended videographers takes 10% off the collection price.
She sells finished artwork rather than files alone. Framed prints, canvas, Chromaluxe metal, timber-mounted panels, archival cotton-rag fine art prints, timber art mount boxes and handmade Australian albums on Fuji and Kodak paper, backed by a thirty-year warranty — and every wall art piece comes with a free digital copy of that same image.
