Brendan has photographed more than two hundred weddings across the Mornington Peninsula. Before this he was a paramedic, working emergency rooms and ICUs, and he says staying calm while everything happens at once turned out to be exactly what a wedding day asks for.

Quiet and candid. In his own words, your wedding day is not a photo shoot - he is not there to direct you or build a portfolio piece, but to move through the day watching and waiting for the look your father gives you when he thinks nobody is watching.

Standout Feature

He has aphantasia and cannot picture faces in his mind - not his wife’s, not his daughter’s. He writes that photographs are therefore not decorations to him, they are how he sees the people he loves, and that it is why he will never treat a wedding as just another job.
