Claire Davie is based on Phillip Island and has photographed hundreds of weddings across the island and the Bass Coast. She is warm, funny and completely unbothered by the awkwardness of having a camera around all day — her own phrase for the job is becoming your camera-carrying tagalong. Expect nervous sips of champagne in matching pyjamas at one end of the day and bare feet on a sticky dance floor at the other.

She guides rather than poses. You get just enough direction that you never wonder what to do with your hands, with plenty of room left for the candid moments in between — the ones you missed, the details you forgot, the happy tears and the belly laughs.
