Simone Harris has photographed Perth weddings for more than twenty years and has the awards to match: voted the city’s number one wedding photographer at the Wedding Industry Awards in 2022, 2023 and 2025, and number one in Australia at the Australian Wedding Awards in 2022, 2023 and 2024. Both are voted by married couples rather than judged by a panel.

Style & Approach

Natural, candid and deliberately filter-free, with true colour rather than a fashionable wash. She works in natural light and off-camera flash, and is blunt about method: no awkward posing, no trends, no turning the day into a photoshoot. Direction arrives when it is needed and stays out of the way when it is not.

Ideal For

Relaxed, down-to-earth couples who dislike being in front of a camera and care more about moments than perfection. The three collections scale by how much of the day is covered rather than by hours, so a couple can buy the ceremony onwards or the whole thing from both preparations to the open dance floor.
