Blue Ginger Photography is a Canberra wedding photography team working across the ACT, the surrounding regional New South Wales countryside and the South Coast. The published wedding work is warm and unguarded rather than formal, built around confetti exits, first dances, long golden-hour portrait sessions and the quiet moments in between.
The team describes its own style as authentic meeting documentary, aiming for emotion-filled frames rather than stiff posing. Couples are given prompts and small activities instead of rigid poses, and the approach is deliberately relaxed - the promise is that the photographer feels like a friend with a camera along for the day.
Couples who want a second photographer and an engagement session included as standard rather than added on, and who like knowing the full cost up front from a published collection. Dogs are actively welcomed at sessions, and the team can suggest locations that allow them.
Three wedding collections run from six to ten hours of coverage, each including a second photographer for the full day, an engagement shoot, and an online gallery of high-resolution and social-sized images. Prices are quoted before GST. A ten per cent deposit secures the date and the balance falls due two weeks beforehand. Full galleries arrive within six to eight weeks, with a sneak peek sooner.
A second photographer is included in every wedding collection, from the entry tier upward, along with an engagement session. Both are commonly charged as extras elsewhere, and here they are quoted inside the package price.
