Johnny Em Studio is a Canberra-based wedding photographer and videographer working across the capital and, on its own account, further afield. The portfolio is built around full-day coverage of lakeside and hotel weddings: getting-ready rooms, ceremonies under a draped arbour with water behind it, golden-hour portraits and long reception nights. The studio leads with the idea that a wedding is worth recording in two forms at once, and more than fifty couples have booked its hybrid photography and video option.

Couples who want photography and film from one team rather than two, and who would rather not choose between stills and motion. The tiers make that a real choice: a photography-led hybrid package, a fuller photo-and-video package with a second and third shooter, or videography on its own. It suits longer wedding days, since coverage starts at ten hours.
Coverage runs from ten to twelve hours. Hybrid photography with two photographers is $4,000 for ten hours, and the full photo and video package with one photographer and two videographers is $6,500 for twelve hours; a videography-only tier is $3,500 and includes no photography. Short add-on films are $500 for two minutes and $1,000 for five. A complimentary engagement or boudoir photoshoot comes with any wedding package. No booking deposit or travel fee is published.
Delivery speed and the physical keepsakes. More than two hundred professionally edited images arrive in a private online gallery within twenty-four hours of the wedding, and the packages finish with a luxury USB in a keepsake gift box and a printed photo book, either an acrylic-covered volume or a twenty-page ten-by-ten-inch book. The video side adds a five to eight minute cinematic film plus a sixty to one hundred and twenty minute raw documentary of the preparation, full ceremony and reception formalities.
