Wedding Florists · Blue Mountains, New South Wales
Flower Empire works from a shop on Ross Street in Glenbrook, at the foot of the Blue Mountains, and covers the mountains and Penrith. Alongside the wedding work it runs everyday delivery, corporate flowers and a genuine floristry workshop programme.
Bespoke rather than templated — in its own words, “We create bespoke floral arrangements tailored to your vision”. Its own work runs from soft white-and-green arrangements to bright mixed seasonal bouquets.
A couple marrying in the lower mountains or around Penrith who wants a shop they can visit rather than a studio by appointment. The workshops are also worth knowing about if you are considering DIY — you can learn to make a bouquet properly before deciding.
Wedding flowers are quoted from an enquiry form; nothing is priced online. Delivery covers Glenbrook, the Blue Mountains and Penrith, with same-day delivery on orders placed by 12pm. The shop is open Monday 9am–4pm, Tuesday 10am–3pm and Wednesday to Friday 9am–5pm.
They will teach you to do it yourself. Very few wedding florists run a full-day floristry experience and two bouquet workshops — which makes them an unusually good option for a couple who wants to be involved rather than handed a finished box.
