Inku Press is a small design and letterpress studio in Bangalow, fifteen minutes inland from Byron Bay, working on short runs where the printing itself is the point. It was founded in 2017 and is run by a graphic designer who is also the printer, so the same hands draw the design and pull it through the press. What the studio says it is after is the sensory result of paper and print, and that is what a letterpress impression gives you: ink pressed into the sheet rather than sitting on top of it.
