About

Overview & Vibe

The Seasalter Co is a small Byron Bay studio that designs wedding stationery and on-the-day signage, and styles events as well. Its work is built around five curated collections you can tailor — or a fully bespoke commission if you would rather start from a blank page. The same studio can also hire you the stands and holders your cards sit in, so the paper and the table it lands on are designed together.

Style & Printing

Five semi-custom collections — Adore, Amonlina, Classico, Harlow and Paloma — each run as a full suite, so you can take one design the whole way from save-the-date to thank-you card, or mix pieces across collections. Every design can be changed: print method, paper stock, ink, die cut shape and envelope colour are all choices you make. The studio prints digitally, in letterpress, in foil and in white ink, and offers embossing, die cut shapes and hand brush lettering.

Ideal For

Couples who want a complete, co-ordinated suite rather than invitations alone, and who like the idea of choosing the paper and the finish themselves without commissioning from scratch. It suits a Byron wedding particularly well — local orders may qualify for free delivery — but the studio ships Australia-wide and internationally, so a couple planning a Byron wedding from elsewhere is on familiar ground.

The Need-to-Knows

All of the stationery is quoted: you enquire, have a design consultation, and receive a proposal and quote. A non-refundable 50% deposit secures your slot in the design schedule, with the balance due before printing. Design and proofing usually takes two to four weeks, and up to eight for a bespoke commission; a semi-custom design comes back with its first revision within five business days. Printing adds seven to ten business days for digital, or fifteen to twenty for letterpress and foil.

Standout Feature

A full suite in every collection. Rather than an invitation you then try to match, each design already extends across save-the-dates, invitations, menus, bar menus, place cards, table numbers, seating charts, welcome signs and thank-you cards.

Appointment Policy

  • Start with the studio's online enquiry form, saying what you are after. Its head designer then arranges a design consultation to talk through your vision, and a proposal and quote follow from that conversation.

Areas Serviced

  • Australia-wide and international delivery from the Byron Bay studio, with free local delivery possible for Byron Bay orders depending on location.

Booking & Deposit

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit, invoiced once you accept the quote, secures your booking in the design schedule. The balance is due after you approve the final proof.

Delivery & Setup

  • Finished stationery is checked, packed and posted with standard tracked delivery, and you are emailed tracking details once it ships. Australia-wide takes three to five business days, or two to three by express for an extra fee. International orders generally take seven to ten business days. Local Byron Bay orders may qualify for free delivery depending on where you are.

Nearby Landmarks

  • Cape Byron Lighthouse - the white lighthouse on Australia's most easterly point

  • The Pass - a headland lookout and surf break between Clarkes and Wategos beaches

  • Byron Bay hinterland - rainforest, ridgelines and farm properties behind the town

Price Notes

  • All of the stationery is quoted rather than priced on the website. You enquire, have a design consultation, and receive a proposal and quote. A bespoke commission costs more than a semi-custom design, and how much more depends on the brief. Once you accept the quote, a non-refundable 50% deposit secures your place in the design schedule, and the balance is due after you approve the final proof and before anything goes to print.

Proofs & Revisions

  • Once your content is in, the studio emails initial artwork proofs in digital form, and you review them and ask for changes. A semi-custom design comes back with its first revision within five business days; hand lettering takes about ten days. Design and proofing usually runs two to four weeks overall, and up to eight weeks for a bespoke commission. Nothing is printed until you approve the final proof and the balance is paid.
