Kendell Tyne is a Central Coast wedding and family photographer with more than fifteen years behind the camera and over four hundred weddings photographed. She describes her own energy as big and bubbly rather than cool and detached, and she works the day as a participant rather than an observer, promising to be on the dance floor with the camera still in hand.
Natural, joyful and free of awkward posing. She aims for candid, authentic moments carrying plenty of personality with a touch of editorial flair, and describes the result as raw and unposed rather than staged. Direction is offered where a couple wants it, and the stated intention is that the photographs should look like the people in them.
Couples marrying on the Central Coast who want a photographer who will blend into the day and keep it relaxed, and who would rather build their own coverage than pick a fixed tier. She also shoots families, newborns and personal branding, and takes engagement sessions as a way of breaking the ice before the wedding.
Packages start from $1,900, with the average couple investing between $3,500 and $4,500. An $800 invoice secures the date and no date is held without it. Coverage is customisable, a second shooter can be added, and roughly fifty to one hundred edited images are delivered for each hour photographed. Interstate work carries airfares, accommodation and a fuel charge. Video is not offered.
The turnaround is unusually quick and stated plainly: sneak peeks the very next day, and the full high resolution gallery in three weeks, with a USB posted afterwards. Prints, framed canvases, vegan leather albums and a coffee table magazine are all priced openly, and orders placed within a fortnight of the shoot take thirty per cent off.
