He works the day as a guest would — his own line is that he guides you for three per cent of it and spends the rest as a face in the crowd — and the pictures bear it out: groomsmen tying bow ties, a bride stepping out with the family dog, a dancefloor in black and white.

He describes showing people as they truly are rather than when he asked them for a photo, and organises family groups and portraits quickly so you get back to your guests.
