Georgia Burns is an editorial wedding photographer working from a studio in Newcastle, across the Hunter Valley and Sydney, and through European and American wedding seasons for half of each year. She takes a limited number of weddings annually and films as well as photographs, with work featured in Vogue, Together Journal, Wedded Wonderland and The Bridal Journey.
Editorial composition married to documentary instinct. She describes a space where intuition, restraint and quiet direction shape what unfolds, and an instinct for atmosphere over perfection built from shooting across very different landscapes and cultures. She works across digital, thirty-five millimetre and medium format film, and keeps a painting practice alongside the camera.
