The Greenhouse Pavilion
About
Overview & Vibe
110 acres in the mountain ranges of the Port Macquarie hinterland at Toms Creek, west of Wauchope. The estate is exclusively yours — “your celebration is the sole heartbeat on 110 acres” — and the pitch is nature rather than architecture: watercourses that run all year, rainforest, mountain views, and a night sky the venue claims is among the clearest views of the Milky Way in the Southern Hemisphere.
Setting & Style
Small and deliberately so. Three named ceremony sites: the Mountaintop Lookout with panoramic hinterland views, the Waterside Cove beside flowing water on flat ground, and the Greenhouse Pavilion itself — an architectural space with a grand staircase and a dramatic arbour entry that works for either the ceremony or the reception. The catalogue adds a Green Chapel of living foliage and a rainforest cocktail lounge set with ottomans among the ferns.
Ideal For
Elopements and micro weddings — couples marrying alone or with twenty to forty people, who want the whole property to themselves and total control over who caters and who plays.
The Need-to-Knows
- This is a small venue and the numbers are firm. Mountaintop Lookout up to 20; Waterside Cove up to 30; the Pavilion seats 30–40 comfortably. Forty is the practical ceiling.
- Entry pricing is published: Intimate Elopements from $600, Micro Weddings from $1,800 for up to 20 guests. Full venue hire for larger celebrations is quoted rather than listed.
- Fully BYO. “Our venue is proudly BYO-friendly. You have complete freedom to choose your own caterers, food trucks, or beverage suppliers, giving you total creative control and flexibility over your budget and menu.” The venue publishes a long list of local vendors — caterers, florists, cake, hair, transport, music, photo booths, photographers — but you are not obliged to use them.
- Accommodation is on site, and it is the reason to stay the weekend. The Pavilion is part of the Nature Domes eco-luxury retreat — glamping domes with private hot tubs in selected domes, wi-fi and smart TVs, spread through the property.
- The weekend is the product. Stargazing, firepit evenings and outdoor cinema, private chef dining, sauna, cold plunge and pamper packages are all offered around the wedding day itself.
- The address is a rural locality — 2001 Toms Creek, Toms Creek NSW 2446, roughly an hour inland from Port Macquarie. Factor guest transport in.
- Note the web address in the brochure. The 2026/2027 catalogue prints
thegreenhousepavilion.net, which does not resolve. The live site is the.com.au.
Standout Feature
110 acres to yourselves, three ceremony sites to choose between, and a sky dark enough to see the Milky Way from your own reception.

Price Notes
- TWO ENTRY PRICES ARE PUBLISHED AND THE THIRD TIER IS NOT. From the weddings page: 'Intimate Elopements From $600 - Simple and romantic ceremonies designed for just the two of you, surrounded by nature. Micro Weddings From $1,800 (up to 20 guests) - A relaxed and curated experience with your closest people. Full Venue Hire - Exclusive use of the Pavilion and grounds for larger celebrations.' The full-hire tier carries no figure. These are venue-hire fees rather than per-head rates, and because catering is entirely BYO there is no per-head price to record at all; price_per_head is NULL.
- THE VENUE IS FULLY BYO, WHICH IS THE POINT OF ITS PRICING. From the FAQ: 'Do you allow BYO catering and beverages? Yes - our venue is proudly BYO-friendly. You have complete freedom to choose your own caterers, food trucks, or beverage suppliers, giving you total creative control and flexibility over your budget and menu.' And on suppliers generally, from the catalogue: 'BRING THE VENDORS YOU LOVE. If you already have a celebrant, photographer, or vendors you love working with, we wholeheartedly welcome them. Your day should be surrounded by the people you trust most, and we're here to support that.' Because the venue supplies no food, it states no dietary position and dietary_options_supported is NULL.
- EXCLUSIVE USE OF 110 ACRES IS THE HEADLINE INCLUSION. From the catalogue: 'Private Celebrations. Every wedding we host is honored as the most extraordinary day of your life. Our estate is exclusively yours, ensuring that your celebration is the sole heartbeat on 110 acres of lush landscapes. With sweeping mountain vistas and endless horizons, your love story unfolds in complete, breathtaking privacy.' The weddings page lists the same: 'Exclusive use of The Greenhouse Pavilion and surrounding grounds; Multiple ceremony locations across the property; Mountain views and nature-immersed setting; Flexible vendor options; Onsite accommodation at Nature Domes.'
- THE VENUE SELLS A WEEKEND RATHER THAN A DAY: 'More Than Just a Wedding Day. Celebrate across an entire weekend with curated experiences designed to bring people together: Stargazing under the night sky; Firepit evenings and outdoor cinema; Private chef dining experiences; Sauna, cold plunge and pamper packages.' None of these carries a published price.
- THE 2026/2027 CATALOGUE IS CURRENT BUT CONTAINS NO PRICING. 'THE GREEN VISION 2026/2027 WEDDING CATALOG', 37 pages, /CreationDate and /ModDate 18 February 2026 with an HTTP Last-Modified of 17 March 2026 - five months old at harvest and the freshest document in this region. It sets out the ceremony sites, chair counts, table-design approach and vendor philosophy, and carries no dollar figure anywhere. A current, detailed document with no prices in it.
- THE CATALOGUE PRINTS A WEB ADDRESS THAT DOES NOT RESOLVE. Page 4 reads 'WWW.THEGREENHOUSEPAVILION.NET'. Both `thegreenhousepavilion.net` and `www.thegreenhousepavilion.net` fail DNS from this resolver; the live site is `thegreenhousepavilion.com.au`, which is where every other reference on the site points. Recorded so a later sweep does not treat the .net as a second property or a migration.
- THE VENUE SHARES ITS SITE AND CONTACTS WITH NATURE DOMES, AND THE RELATIONSHIP IS STATED: 'The Greenhouse Pavilion is part of the Nature Domes eco-luxury retreat, offering a range of glamping-style domes nestled throughout the property.' The contact page lists them together: 'Nature Domes & The Greenhouse Pavilion, 2001 Toms Creek, Toms Creek NSW 2446, naturedomestomscreek@gmail.com, thegreenhousepavilion@gmail.com, Tel: 0401730268, www.naturedomes.net, www.thegreenhousepavilion.com.au.' The Pavilion is the wedding venue and is listed under its own domain; Nature Domes is the accommodation arm on the same property.
- A LONG LOCAL VENDOR LIST IS PUBLISHED BUT NOT MANDATED - flower farmers, floral designers, Char Bar Catering, Quick and Tasty Takeaway, Fuller Food Co (mobile coffee cart and caravan bar), event hire, three mobile hairdressers plus a bridal hairstyling business, wedding transport including a stretch limousine and bus hire, cake, a solo vocalist, a DJ/karaoke boombox, an African drumming circle, photo booths, dress hire and several photographers and content creators. It is a genuine local-supplier directory rather than a preferred-vendor lock-in.
