About

Overview & Vibe

Longview Farm is an 80-acre property in the Manning Valley hinterland with a kilometre of frontage to the Nowendoc River, half an hour from Taree. It sells the whole weekend, not the day: exclusive use of the property for three days and two nights, with the wedding somewhere in the middle of it.

Setting & Style

Three ceremony sites the River Bank, the Rock Face and the Gum Tree. The reception is The Party Shed, an open-sided barn with a decked dining area over the river, a stage, a dance floor and a nightclub-grade sound and lighting rig with an operator. Between them sits a flat lawn for games and cocktail hour, served by Miss Rosie, a caravan bar, with wine-barrel dry bars, rattan lounges and a campfire.

Ideal For

Up to 150 in the barn, and couples who want their guests to stay: 22 glamping tents sleep 50, the campground takes vans and swags, and the couple gets a rotating riverside house that sleeps ten. It suits people who would rather choose their own caterer and buy their own alcohol than take a package.

The Need-to-Knows

BYO caterer and BYO alcohol. The venue provides no food and sells no drink — it supplies the bar staff, glassware and ice, and you supply the rest. That means no per-head price exists to publish, and dietary provision is whatever your caterer does. The address is rural — Caffreys Flat, thirty minutes from Taree — so guest transport needs planning.

Standout Feature

The styling inventory, and that it is free. Arbours in three shapes, Americana folding chairs, wooden bench seating, aisle runners, wine barrels, macrame, a bridal rug, easels, a signing table, giant L.O.V.E letters, Victorian lounge settings, clear umbrellas, even a Vera Wang cake knife — all included, all set up and packed down by the venue’s own crew. As the venue puts it, “our collection saves you thousands compared to a DIY venue.”
