Stacie Pearce Photography works out of the Bridges Street Studio at Kurnell, on the southern edge of Sydney, covering the Sutherland Shire, the wider city and down into the Illawarra. Stacie and her husband Jim run it as a husband-and-wife duo, and the tone is unfussy — warm, friendly and focused on the in-between moments rather than the set pieces.
Style & Approach
Natural and relaxed. Stacie describes herself as quiet and unintrusive, waiting for moments rather than manufacturing them, and says she is not big on posing — though she will step in to line everyone up for the group shots, and encourages cuddles, twirls and dips along the way. Every wedding is shot by Stacie herself on a Canon DSLR, usually with a 35mm lens, and none of the editing is outsourced.
Ideal For
Couples who want a photographer who joins the bridal party rather than directing it. There are three clear routes: a full day at eight hours, a two-hour elopement in the Sutherland Shire or Wollongong, or a Sydney Harbour sailboat elopement that folds the skipper, the celebrant, the legal paperwork and grazing platters into one price.
The Need-to-Knows
Full-day coverage is $3,650 for eight hours, the elopement $1,400 and the sailboat package $6,500. A second shooter is $200 an hour and a content creator $180. Dates are held with a 20% non-refundable deposit, with the balance due a week before. Images come in high and web resolution, in colour with a black-and-white selection, delivered to a private online gallery; RAW files are not offered. Linen albums start at $840 and ready-to-hang prints at $120.
Standout Feature
Stacie spent more than a decade in New York as an event producer running major productions before moving to Cronulla, and says that logistics background is what drives her to climb a tree or scale a wall to curate a shot. Location scouting and an in-person planning meeting are built into the wedding packages rather than sold as extras.
