Merci Group (Dunes Palm Beach & Mobys Whale Beach)
About
Overview & Vibe
Merci Group runs two of the Northern Beaches' most loved coastal wedding venues: Dunes, the Mediterranean-inspired pavilion in the dunes of Palm Beach, and Mobys, the Italian waterfront restaurant above Whale Beach. Both trade in the same currency — golden light, salt air and long, generous tables just steps from the sand.
Setting & Style
Dunes wraps celebrations in relaxed Mediterranean charm: an open-air alfresco pavilion amongst Norfolk pines and coastal gardens, with courtyard ceremonies under festoon lights and menus of fresh seafood and vibrant seasonal produce. Mobys answers with timeless Italian coastal elegance on the Whale Beach waterfront — handmade pasta, fresh seafood and sunsets over the Pacific.
Ideal For
Couples wanting a barefoot-luxe Northern Beaches wedding with serious food — intimate dinners through to exclusive-hire celebrations of the whole venue.
The Need-to-Knows
- Dunes: open-air alfresco dining space and gardens at Governor Phillip Park, right behind Palm Beach.
- Mobys: waterfront indoor and alfresco spaces; standard group dining to 30, with larger weddings via exclusive private hire.
- Wedding packages available for download; on-site viewings bookable with the events team.
- Both kitchens are the venue's own — Mediterranean at Dunes, Italian-coastal at Mobys.
Standout Feature
Two ends of Sydney's most beautiful peninsula: marry behind the dunes of Palm Beach or above the surf at Whale Beach, with one events team and two celebrated coastal kitchens.
