Designer Bunches is Jan and Eliza Fagan, a mother-and-daughter pair who have run the shop on Brisbane Street for more than thirty years. They call it “the original Tamworth Florist”, and their greeting to a newly engaged couple sets the tone: “Congratulations, let the journey begin!”
Style & Signature Blooms
Seasonal and led by what the markets have — flowers are sourced from local growers where possible and otherwise from the Sydney flower markets. Their own bouquet galleries run from all-white lisianthus, chrysanthemum and phalaenopsis through to deep burgundy dahlia work and, often, full native bouquets of king protea, gumnut, waxflower and grevillea.
Ideal For
A New England country wedding, and especially one at a property rather than a venue. They say they have worked “at all local venues” and name Goonoo Goonoo Station and the Town Hall alongside “many private properties, homesteads and farms.” Their own summary is hard to improve on: “nothing is too small or too far.”

Nothing wedding-related is priced — you get in touch or call in to the shop to talk it through. They will travel outside the region, and have done weddings as far as Melbourne and Brisbane. Everyday delivery covers Tamworth same-day, with restricted weekday runs out to Gunnedah, Manilla, Barraba, Quirindi and Werris Creek. The shop trades weekdays 8.30am–5pm, with Saturday by appointment.

Thirty years in one town means they already know your venue. They offer something most florists cannot: “We are familiar with the many wedding venues in the Tamworth region and can advise on what will suit your space and make it look even more amazing.” For a couple marrying at a homestead they have never seen, that is worth more than a mood board.
