Sposabella Bridal calls itself the largest bridal showroom in the Illawarra and South Coast, and the catalogue backs it: 331 gowns across sixteen labels, on Princes Highway at Fairy Meadow, just north of Wollongong.
Dress Styles & Designers
The range is unusually European. WONÁ Concept (53 gowns) and Eva Lendel (49) lead, alongside Pronovias (49) and Aire Barcelona from Spain, Enzoani with its Blue, Love and Pen.Liv lines, plus Mori Lee, Veni Infantino, Elysee, Etoile, Luna Novias, Martha Blanc and Rosa Clará. A dedicated Curve collection runs to 16 gowns. Bridesmaids come from MoriLee and Nicoletta, and the showroom also carries evening gowns, veils, headpieces, tiaras and earrings.
Ideal For
The bride who wants European couture without driving to Sydney, and the bride who wants one shop to finish the job. Alterations are done in house, and the boutique also makes custom wedding dresses its own designers and seamstresses working from a bride’s own design, fabric, silhouette, neckline and embellishment. Very few stores both stock international houses and cut an original gown.
The Need-to-Knows
In-house alterations are for dresses bought here the boutique states that limit plainly, so a gown from elsewhere will need an outside seamstress. Appointments are private fittings, requested through the site with a first and second preferred time. Trading hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am–5pm, Thursday until 7pm, Saturday 10am–4pm; closed Tuesdays and Sundays. Most gowns are not priced online — fifteen, running, and most of those sit in the Sale Gowns collection.
Standout Feature
Scale, in a region that had none. Sixteen bridal labels and 331 gowns is more than any other store this directory lists outside the capitals, and the Illawarra had no dress store at all until this batch. A bride in Wollongong, Dapto, Shellharbour or Kiama can now see WONÁ, Eva Lendel and Pronovias in one room, twenty minutes from home, instead of an hour and a half up the M1.

Its collection runs to 331 gowns across sixteen bridal labels, weighted towards European houses -- WONA Concept, Eva Lendel, Pronovias, Aire Barcelona, Enzoani with its Blue, Love and Pen.Liv lines, Mori Lee, Veni Infantino, Elysee, Etoile, Luna Novias, Martha Blanc and Rosa Clara -- with a dedicated Curve collection of 16 gowns. Bridesmaid dresses come from MoriLee and Nicoletta, and the showroom also carries evening gowns, veils, headpieces, tiaras and earrings. Appointments are private fittings, requested through the site with a first and second preferred time. Alterations are carried out in house by the boutique's own team, exclusively on dresses bought there, and it also makes custom wedding dresses to a bride's own design, working through fabric, silhouette, neckline and embellishment. The store is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am to 5pm, Thursday to 7pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm, and is closed Tuesdays and Sundays.
