It keeps ready-to-ship gowns in sizes 6 to 30, has an in-house seamstress, and runs entirely by appointment so the studio is yours while you are in it.

Gowns are grouped into four collections — The Modern Minimalist for clean lines, The Romantic Bride for lace and soft detail, The Classic Bride for traditional elegance and The Statement Bride for something bold. Labels include Morilee, Enzoani, Justin Alexander, Jasmine Bridal, Etoile, Moonlight Bridal, Veni Infantino and La Divine.

Ideal For

A bride on a shorter timeline, and one shopping a wider size range — the ready-to-ship rack runs 6 to 30 and some gowns leave the same day. It also suits a bride who wants something no one else will have: the studio makes gowns to measure where the designer allows it, and its seamstress will customise a stock gown.

The Need-to-Knows

Appointments only — $25 for the signature try-on any day, or $60 for the two-hour Boutique Bridal Experience on weekdays. Both are redeemable against your gown. Bring up to three guests; four gowns is the recommended number to try. Open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm and Saturday mornings 9am to noon, with after-hours appointments by arrangement. Gowns that are not in stock take five to eight weeks.

Standout Feature

The in-house seamstress. She handles customisations and last-minute alterations in the same building the gown came from, which is why the studio can promise a tropical-weather timeline that boutiques sending work out cannot.

The Boutique Bridal Experience is $60, weekdays only, and runs two hours. It is also fully redeemable.
You can bring up to three guests, and the studio recommends trying about four gowns.
Refreshments are included — Lovena Sparkle, bubbles, tea or coffee.

Every appointment is one-to-one in the studio, with refreshments and up to three guests, and the store suggests trying about four gowns rather than working through the rack.
Its consultants are named on the site by brides who have been through it — Narelle and Chloe are the two mentioned most.
Ready-to-ship gowns in sizes 6 to 30 mean a bride can often leave with the dress rather than wait five to eight weeks for an order.
